Rebirth (2023) is a meditation on psychoanalysis, dreams, and the cinematic feminine. A particularly personal film, it attempts to explore the theory of The Matrixial Borderspace, penned by Bracha Ettinger, both in terms of its shape as well as multiple recurring thematic elements.
This film was an official selection at FEST - New Directors New Films Festival in 2024 and at the Arche Film Festival in 2023, having competed in the Experimental Competition of both festivals. It also formed part of a group exhibition for the Artémon series at Atelier Gardens Berlin *Arts Lab, curated by Ayham Majid Agha.
