Inspired by the work of Robert Mapplethorpe and writings by Georges Bataille, Primal (2019) depicts the beauty, vulnerability, mutability and simplicity of the human body whilst exploring the link between the human form and flowers.

This film was awarded with the ‘Outstanding Award for Creative Media Production’ at the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts (Malta) in 2019, and screened at Kino Klub Split in Croatia in 2021.
